...And they lived h̶a̶p̶p̶i̶l̶y̶ ever after !!

Fairytales are weird. They always portray a happy and perfect ending. Well, that's not true in real life. Everything you pursue or every story of yours need not have a perfect ending in real life. We are told fairytales right from the beginning, right from childhood. And that's how we end up with the notion that every ending is going to be happy and perfect, just as we'd imagined it to be. But, when the truth surfaces itself in real life, that's when trouble begins.

All our fairytales shatter like pieces of mirror when realities are faced. Because, let's face it, every path you trod upon, every chapter you begin to write in the book of your life, need not end well, need not end perfectly. If everything were to end exactly the way you'd imagined, there'd be no surprises, there'd be no adventure and life would be so monotonous. No excitement/fear for the future. And that's what describes life right? - the uncertainties, the lows, the ups, the lost moments, the ordinary moments, the extraordinary moments.

At this point, I remember Gilda Radner saying, " I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learnt, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity."

That's what life exactly is - a DELICIOUS AMBIGUITY. Different people are going to bring you different presents. Some you might love while some you might not even like. But, you are not the one who gets to choose the presents right? Let life offer what it has to because that bitch is gonna do it anyways. What's for us to do? Next time, you listen/ watch a fairytale , do not relate it to your life. It's always soothing to imagine everything end perfectly but that's not how it works. Well, sure life's going to end, every moment, every experience is going to end, but perfectly or not!? That remains an unanswered question. Enjoy the ambiguity !! ;)
