Through the Mirror

Have you ever observed a child laughing at the little things which we think to be stupid now? Ever noticed him being carefree and enjoying the best in every moment? We were the same as kids – innocent, carefree, making the best of every moment. But, as we grew up, we just made our lives more complicated. For us, happiness has become reaching great heights, acquiring surplus amount of wealth and possessing branded materials. The change in the definition of “happiness” has been so drastic that laughing our hearts out has become a thing of the past. While climbing the ladder and stressing over our future, we have failed miserably to live in the moment. Growing up was supposed to be a good thing. It was supposed to make us aware, more knowledgeable, more intelligent and smarter. But, why does this smartness have to come at the cost of our happiness?
